The Role
As a Bus Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in ensuring buses are clean, hygienic and ready for passengers. You’ll be responsible for cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles and working efficiently to meet nightly deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting buses, including seats, floors, windows and handrails
- Emptying waste bins and removing litter
- Checking vehicles for lost property and reporting any items found
- Ensuring buses are cleaned to a high standard and ready for service
- Working efficiently to meet nightly cleaning schedules
- Following relevant health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is required
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working on your feet and carrying out physical tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
