Key responsibilitiesAn excellent opportunity has arisen for Front Line Support Staff to join a busy and service focused environment in Doncaster. As Front Line Support Staff, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of administrative, clerical and support functions while ensuring high standards of service delivery. This Front Line Support Staff position involves working with a degree of independence, taking initiative, and supporting the effective day to day running of services. The successful Front Line Support Staff candidate will also have some supervisory responsibilities and will contribute to maintaining compliance with statutory obligations. This is a varied and rewarding Front Line Support Staff role suited to someone organised, proactive, and confident in managing relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Produce accurate and timely work across a range of administrative and support tasks
• Deliver services within budget to customers and clients in line with agreed standards
• Monitor and record personal and service outputs against performance targets
• Take corrective action where required and report updates to management
• Provide advice, guidance, and interpretation of procedures and processes
• Manage administrative processes to support statutory compliance
• Deliver research materials and contribute recommendations where appropriate
• Complete tasks agreed within your Professional Development Review
• Build and maintain relationships with members, customers, and partner organisations
• Develop internal and external networks to support service delivery
• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and team members
• Support and supervise others where required within the Front Line Support Staff role
Skills and experience required
Essential:
• Good standard of education, typically equivalent to a minimum of Level 3
• Relevant role related experience in a Front Line Support Staff or similar position
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory requirements
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
• Numerate with good attention to detail
• Ability to travel between sites if required
• Ability to meet requirements within a structured skills framework
• Capability to monitor performance and supervise others
Desirable:
• Previous supervisory experience within a Front Line Support Staff role
• Knowledge of role specific processes, practices, and operations
• Familiarity with role related software applications
• Good keyboard and IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Confident using internet based systems and tools
