What the Role Involves

Operator Licence Compliance:

• Maintaining the operator's licence conditions continuously - ensuring the traffic area, operating centres, vehicle and trailer numbers, nominated Transport Manager details and any undertakings given to the Traffic Commissioner are current and accurately reflected in the licence record at all times
• Managing the business's DVSA-compliant preventive maintenance inspection programme, ensuring every vehicle and trailer is inspected at the interval the operator's licence undertaking commits to, that inspection records are completed and retained correctly and that any prohibition or defect notice is managed with the rectification urgency and documentation that the DVSA's compliance framework requires
