What the Role Involves

Vehicle Inspection:

• Inspecting completed vehicles against the employer's defined preparation or repair standard across all relevant dimensions - bodywork and paintwork condition, glass, lighting, tyre condition and specification, interior cleanliness and condition, mechanical function checks, infotainment and electrical system operation and documentation completeness
• In bodyshop quality roles: assessing the quality of paint finish, body panel alignment, gap consistency, colour match accuracy and blend quality against the required repair standard, identifying any surface defect, colour mismatch, masking mark, buff trail or panel alignment issue before the vehicle is released to the customer
• In fleet and defleet quality roles: assessing vehicle condition against the specified grading standard - BVRLA fair wear and tear, manufacturer end-of-contract standard, or the auction presentation grade specified by the remarketing client - and recording findings accurately on the condition report for each vehicle
