What the Role Involves

Parts Delivery:

• Collecting the day's delivery manifest from the parts department, loading the delivery vehicle correctly - ensuring heavy, fragile and boxed items are secured appropriately, parts allocated to different customers are segregated clearly and every delivery is accompanied by the correct paperwork
• Completing the day's delivery route efficiently, arriving at each customer drop at the expected time, handing over parts with the correct delivery documentation and obtaining a customer signature or confirmation as required by the employer's proof of delivery process
• Communicating professionally at every trade customer location, representing the parts department positively with counter staff and trade workshop teams and passing on any messages or feedback from the customer to the Parts Advisor or Parts Manager on return to the dealership or depot
• Returning undelivered items, surplus parts or customer returns to the parts department accurately, informing the Parts Advisor of the reason for any non-delivery so the customer can be contacted and an alternative arrangement made promptly

Parts Collection and Workshop Supply:
