About the role
We are currently looking for a Car Valeter to join a busy automotive environment in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for a Car Valeter with previous experience preparing new and used vehicles to join a professional team on a temporary basis.
As a Car Valeter, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are cleaned, prepared and presented to a high standard before they are made available to customers. The role will suit someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can work efficiently to meet daily requirements.
Previous experience as a Car Valeter is advantageous, particularly experience valeting both new and used cars. However, candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and attention to detail may also be considered.
Key responsibilities
• Cleaning and valeting new and used vehicles
• Preparing vehicles to a high standard for customer presentation
• Carrying out interior and exterior cleaning
• Ensuring vehicles are presented professionally and are ready for collection or display
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets and requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Following workplace procedures and maintaining a clean and organised working area
Skills and experience required
Essential:
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Good work ethic and a professional approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
• Previous experience as a Car Valeter
• Experience valeting new and used cars
• Previous experience within an automotive, dealership or vehicle preparation environment
