Master Vehicle Technician
Location: Solihull
Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Efficiency Bonus
Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established, privately owned automotive dealership group based in Solihull. Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Completing accurate Vehicle Health Checks using electronic reporting systems.
- Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Performing road tests where required.
- Carrying out MOT tests (where qualified).
- Ensuring all repairs are completed within agreed timescales while maintaining high productivity.
- Recording fault diagnosis, causes and rectification clearly and accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership or professional workshop.
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
- Qualified MOT Tester.
- At least two years' diagnostic experience is desirable.
- Experience working with modern vehicle diagnostic systems.
- A proactive approach to learning and developing technical knowledge through manufacturer training.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently while achieving productivity targets.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
