Vehicle Technician
Location: Slough
Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per annum + Bonus (Flexibility available for the right candidate)
Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
We are currently looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing automotive workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 2 qualified Technician (Level 3 preferred) with an MOT Testing licence to become part of a supportive team working on both traditional and electric vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
- Performing MOT tests (where qualified).
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Working confidently on electric and hybrid vehicles (or having a willingness to develop EV skills).
- Maintaining accurate service records and completing work to manufacturer standards.
- Supporting the parts department and wider workshop team when required.
- Delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (minimum requirement).
- NVQ Level 3 is highly desirable.
- Valid MOT Tester licence.
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles.
- An interest in or experience working with electric vehicles (EVs).
- Good understanding of automotive parts and willingness to support other areas of the business.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A reliable team player with excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
