About the Role
We're currently recruiting for an experienced Car Spray Painter to join a friendly, family-run workshop based in Brigg. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where quality workmanship is valued, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after an initial 3-month temporary period.
All equipment and materials are provided on site, so you'll have everything you need to carry out your work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle panels and bodywork for painting, including sanding, masking and priming.
- Mix and match paint colours accurately.
- Apply paint using spray equipment to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Carry out repairs and refinishing work on a range of vehicles.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Car Spray Painter or Vehicle Paint Technician.
- Ability to prepare and refinish vehicles to a high standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
- Good knowledge of paint products, equipment and finishing techniques.
