MET Technician (Mechanical Electrical Trim)
Location: Swindon (Wiltshire)
Salary: Up to £54,600
Hours: Monday to Friday (7am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings depending on business needs)
We are currently looking for an experienced MET Technician to join a manufacturer approved Bodyshop in Swindon (Wiltshire) this is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern environment and delivering quality repairs.
The Role:
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
- Proven experience in replacing mechanical parts in vehicles.
- Confident in stripping and refitting all components of a vehicle.
- Proficient in using correct repair methods for EV and ADAS vehicles.
- Self-assess completed tasks to ensure proper fitment and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Regularly check all tools to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous MET experience
- ATA accreditation desirable
- NVQ or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong eye for detail
- Somebody who takes pride in the quality of their work
