Service Advisor, Chippenham
Salary £30,000 to £32,000, plus bonus on labour sales
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, 1 hour lunch
Every second Saturday, 8:00am to 12:30pm
The opportunity
If you're an experienced Service Advisor, Service Administrator, this is a strong opportunity to join a busy, well-run Automotive business in Chippenham.
You'll be at the centre of the operation, managing customer relationships, workshop flow, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from booking through to handover.
This is a fast-paced role where organisation, communication, and customer service are key, with the opportunity to earn additional bonus through labour sales.
What you'll be doing
- Act as the main point of contact for customers booking in service and repair work
- Qualify customer needs and accurately log work required
- Manage workshop loading and diary to maximise efficiency
- Liaise between customers, technicians, and the workshop
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
- Upsell additional work and services where appropriate
- Handle job cards, invoicing, and administration accurately
- Manage courtesy vehicles and handovers
- Deal with customer queries and resolve issues professionally
What I'm looking for
- Experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced dealership environment
- Confident dealing with customers and managing expectations
