Senior Vehicle Technician Derby or Birmingham
£37,500 basic, salary negotiable plus achievable bonus
We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician Senior Diagnostic for a well established, growing automotive business in Derby. This is a strong opportunity for a technician who wants stability, a professional working environment, and the chance to focus on quality diagnostic and engine work.
You will be based in a clean, well organised workshop, working alongside an experienced team with consistent workflow and no unnecessary pressure. This is a business that values its technicians and gives you the space to do the job properly.
This is a diagnostic led role. You will be responsible for advanced fault finding, electrical and sensor related issues, alongside carrying out engine repairs including wet belt replacements. This is not a routine servicing role, the focus is on technical work and getting to the root cause of faults.

What we are looking for

Vehicle Technician Senior Diagnostic level

Strong diagnostic and fault finding capability

Confident with electrical and complex repairs

Experience carrying out engine work including wet belts
