About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Driver Valeter to join a busy and growing automotive dealership in Leeds. This Driver Valeter position offers an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional individual who takes pride in vehicle presentation and safe vehicle movement.
As a Driver Valeter, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are prepared to a high standard, whether fully valeted or presented for display. The successful Driver Valeter will be confident moving vehicles around site without damage and will maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times. This Driver Valeter role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast paced automotive environment.
This Driver Valeter opportunity is offered on a temp to perm basis, providing long term stability for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure all work is completed within set timeframes
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ensure all vehicles are presentable whether valeted or prepared for display
• Safely move vehicles around the site without causing damage
• Carry out general vehicle cleaning duties including washing and interior cleaning
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Skills and experience required
Essential:
• Proven experience working in a bodyshop or accident repair environment
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident and competent driver
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
• No driving licence points
• Previous valeting experience
