I am looking for a HGV technician who will be required to repair, maintain, inspect all commercial vehicles within the fleet maintenance facilities. Providing specialist Hydraulic repairs and complete diagnostic tests using manual tools and advanced technology.
To ensure that the statutory and operational requirements are met, maintaining vehicles in accordance with the Driver Vehicle and Standards Agency “Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness’’
- Full industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair)
- Cat C Driving Licence
- Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (DQC)
- General welding skills
- Experience working on specialist Hydraulic systems
- Experience working on Electric Powered Vehicles
- Experience of maintaining large fleets
- Experience of proactively engaging customers to improve relationships for the long-term and continue to drive value.
