Monday to Friday with Saturdays on rota - Modern clean workshop & supportive management
An established main dealer site in the Wolverhampton area is looking to appoint an experienced Vehicle Technician with a strong diagnostic background. This role is focused almost entirely on diagnostics and complex repair work, working closely in tandem with a Master Technician.
This is not a high volume servicing position. The successful Vehicle Technician will spend the majority of their time fault finding, carrying out advanced diagnostics, electrical diagnosis and repair, and resolving technical issues that require skill and logical problem solving.
The role would suit a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician who feels their skills are currently under-utilised and is looking to join an organisation where technical ability is properly recognised and career development is supported.
Key responsibilities
- Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding
- Electrical and mechanical repair work
- Working closely alongside a Master Technician
- Use of manufacturer diagnostic systems
- Resolving complex technical issues
- Minimal servicing duties
The ideal Vehicle Technician
- Experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
- Main dealer or strong independent background
- Enjoys technical problem solving
- Keen to progress and develop further
