Vehicle Technician - Level 3 City & Guilds/IMI Qualified/MOT Qualified
Location: Blackburn
Rate: £22-£24 per hour
Shifts : Monday to Friday, 7.30-4.00
Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester seeking a new career opportunity?
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician/s across the UK to join established workshops and benefit from a competitive rate package.
What you will be doing as a Vehicle Technician:
✔ Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure road worthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.
✔ Use of dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment to assist in time-efficient repairs.
✔ Perform repairs and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards and schedules.
✔ Always maintain health and safety standards, working within company guidelines and safe working practices.
✔ Complete job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standard.
✔ Carrying out MOT Tests
Qualifications and Experience Requirements for Vehicle Technicians:
✔ Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history as a Mechanic or Vehicle technician.
✔ Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 & 7)
✔ City and Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicles
✔ Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair, or welding would be advantageous.
