Service Advisor (Automotive - Cars - light vehicle LCV sector)
Salary: Up to £35k Basic Salary depending on experience + Benefits
Location: Peterborough
Working hours: 8 - 5 Full time, although there are flexible working hours available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor (Automotive) to join a well-established and growing automotive service team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact between customers and workshop teams
- Book and schedule servicing, MOTs and repairs for Vehicles - cars and vans
- Liaise with suppliers, order parts and manage job cards through to invoicing
- Provide regular updates to customers and handle queries professionally
- Support colleagues to achieve performance targets
- Maintain a clean, professional reception area
- Take part in ongoing training and development
What you will need (Qualifications & Experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience ideally in the HGV commercial vehicle automotive service or repair sector although light vehicle would be considered
- Strong customer service skills and excellent written & verbal communication
- IT Literate, familiar with automotive databases GDS
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable under pressure
- Enthusiastic, flexible and a strong team player
- Valid driving licence required
