Workshop Services Administrator (Maternity Cover)
£27,000 per annum | Full-time | 15-Month Contract
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | In-Person Role

Venatu Recruitment is proud to partner with our valued client in the search for a Workshop Services Administrator to join their team on a 15-month maternity cover contract. About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of workshop administration, supporting internal and external customers, and assisting with operations across multiple workshop locations when needed. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires a hands-on, proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day workshop administrative processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and control WIP (Work in Progress) and workshop cost procedures in line with company policy (K2)
- Maintain tight cost control on repairs, maintenance spend, and third-party repairers
- Liaise with the Parts Department, ensuring all parts are booked at the point of invoice and stock levels are accurately maintained
- Manage workshop KPIs and the administration department
- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party repairers
- Provide holiday cover and ad-hoc support across two other workshop locations (occasional travel required)
- Support and manage third-party customers as required
- Administer weekly and month-end WIP and cost control reports

- Health & Safety aware
- Competent user of Excel
- Full, valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience as a Service Administrator in a Main Dealer setting
- Familiarity with Key2 Fleet Management software
