Recruitment Consultant – Automotive
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + uncapped bonus

We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This is a true 360 role with the flexibility to specialise in either permanent or contract recruitment, depending on your experience and strengths.
Whether you are an established perm recruiter, a contract billing specialist, or someone with a blend of both, this role offers the platform to build a high-performing desk with full support, strong infrastructure, and clear progression pathways.
You will take ownership of your desk, delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions while driving revenue growth through business development and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within your market.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted partner.
- Understand client hiring needs, culture, and commercial drivers.
- Negotiate terms and deliver commercially sound recruitment solutions.
Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to placement.
- Write and advertise engaging job opportunities across multiple platforms.
- Source, interview, and assess candidates to ensure strong technical and cultural fit.
- Manage offers, negotiations, and onboarding processes.
Candidate Management
- Build and nurture a high-quality candidate network within your specialist market.
- Provide a consultative experience, offering advice and market insight.
- Maintain strong relationships with placed candidates to support retention.
Contract-Specific Focus (where applicable)
- Manage contractor pipelines and build a strong pool of available talent.
- Maintain regular engagement with contractors throughout assignments.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements.
Performance & Compliance
- Deliver against KPIs, revenue targets, and activity metrics.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure all processes are compliant.
- Contribute to a high-performance, collaborative team environment.
