We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy, customer-focused operation within the motor industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, handling parts enquiries, and managing the ordering process from enquiry through to delivery.
The successful Parts Advisor will play a key role in supporting customers over the phone, ensuring vehicle parts are ordered accurately, delivered on time, and communicated effectively throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls
- Advising customers on vehicle parts, availability, and pricing
- Processing and ordering vehicle parts accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring orders and proactively chasing suppliers for updates
- Keeping customers informed on delivery times and order progress
- Managing customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
- Updating internal systems, including Kerridge/Dealer Management Systems
- Delivering consistently high levels of customer service
- Working closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and aftersales operations
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Experience using Kerridge or similar dealer management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Confident problem-solver with a proactive approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm
- Every other Saturday
Salary
- £28,000 basic salary + Bonus Oppertunity
